In the heart of Girona

Canet d'Adri, Rocacorba and the Vall de Llémena

Canet d’Adri belongs to the Comarca del Gironès. It is located in the mountainous area dominated by the Serra de Rocacorba (985m.), Which separates the plain of Girona from the Vall de Llémena, where the most important nucleus of volcanism in the Gironès rests. There have been references to the Adri Valley since 2500 BC, such as the dolmen of Montbó. A place to visit are the gorges of the Font de la Torre, excavated on basalt stone that recall the volcanic past of the area.

Girona capital

Girona, the capital of the province, is a city with a thousand-year history that knows how to live perfectly with the modernity and comforts of our days. Its historic center is delimited by the Paseo de la Muralla, the path of the old Carolingian walls and the late Middle Ages. Girona has unique monumental elements with remarkable artistic riches, including the Jewish quarter, one of the best preserved in the Iberian Peninsula, the Arab baths, the cathedral, with the largest single nave in the world in Gothic style, or the colorful houses on the banks of the river Onyar.
